Electronic Control Unit Cloning

Cloning helps retain the vehicle’s original configuration: coding, equipment settings, and (where applicable) security-related data. This service is especially useful when a module fails, the car won’t start, or communication faults appear on the CAN network.

Service workflow (start to finish)

1. Intake & consultation

2. Diagnostics & root-cause verification
   We scan the vehicle, check power/communication, and rule out wiring or related system faults.

3. Donor unit compatibility check
   We verify part number/type/software version compatibility and can assist with sourcing the correct unit.

4. Data transfer (cloning)
   We transfer the necessary data to make the donor unit match the original module’s settings and bindings.

5. Installation & initial validation
   We test module communication, vehicle start (where applicable), and key functions.

6. Final diagnostics & testing
   We clear/verify fault codes, check live data, and perform required adaptations if needed.

7. Handover & documentation
   Upon request, we provide an invoice/service report and recommendations.
